Apply

The Greenwell Foundation, Inc., a private foundation, assists charitable programs and projects by providing grants to not-for-profit organizations benefiting citizens living in Owensboro and Daviess County, Kentucky.

The Foundation recognizes that applying for grants is time consuming. The Foundation invites organizations to complete our long-form application.  The “Request Application” facilitates the process by letting us know of your interest in receiving a grant.

Requests to apply must be submitted by May 31

The Greenwell Foundation accepts requests to apply for a grant throughout the year. Requests to apply must be submitted by May 31 to be considered for a grant awarded later the same year.

The Board of Directors will review the request in June to decide who will be invited to apply. The organizations that are chosen to apply will be notified and asked to complete a Grant Application, due on July 1.

Before considering an application, please review the Grant Application Guidelines and Terms of Grant Acceptance. See the Grants Timeline for an overview of the process.

The board members of the Greenwell Foundation encourage you to read about our founder. The board adheres to his values and goals for serving the Owensboro-Daviess County community when reviewing requests.
